A great moment in American history unraveled for all of us across the globe today. Barack Obama’s Inauguration was held today this morning, which was full of heart felt emotions and sentiments. Obama’s speech was truly one of the best speeches I have heard to this day and I look forward to seeing him in office.
I took the morning off work to watch this, live in my living room. This shot was actually my photo for today’s 365days but it turned into something much more than that. It reached 100+ views in a matter of minutes and it even ended up on Flickr Blog, We Watched. It’s now taking tons of brand new hits since it was posted there, I’m quite proud to see such a simple shot go so far. Thanks everyone!

Thanks! It’s amazing how much of a public response I’m still receiving from this photo nearly a week after I uploaded it.
